SES-STERLING metal protective conduits

This new range of SES-STERLING metal protective conduits features several new protective conduits.

SIMF bare flexible metal protective conduits in galvanised steel

Their key advantage is their thermal resistance (-45 to +250 °C) combined with mechanical flexibility, making them particularly suitable for demanding environments.

SES-STERLING recommends its SIMF conduit for sectors such as heavy industry or the steel industry. It is ideal for protecting cables near furnaces, boilers and hot areas, or for routing thermal sensors and control cables in high-temperature zones. It is also used in the maintenance of industrial machinery. Our new metal protective conduit is particularly well-suited for routing cables.

You can also use this new range in ventilation, heating and air-conditioning systems, around control or power cables in high-temperature areas.

Are you a professional in the automotive or rail sectors? The SIMF conduit protects cables located near engines, exhausts, or compressors.

The SIMF PU flexible metal protective conduit

This protective conduit, made of galvanised steel coated with a layer of polyurethane, is ideal for applications where high fire resistance is required (UL94 V0). Its PU coating provides chemical resistance, giving it greater durability.

SES-STERLING recommends its SIMF PU conduit for installations in:

  • buildings subject to fire regulations (public access buildings, hospitals, schools, data centres, etc.)
  • the electronics industry
  • automation
  • maritime and rail transport or special-purpose vehicles (requiring certified fire resistance)

This new metal protective conduit is particularly well-suited to outdoor installations thanks to its resistance to UV light and chemicals. It is ideal for photovoltaic installations or outdoor terminals.

The SIMF PU conduit is resistant to both heat and cold (down to -60 °C), making it ideal for use in cryogenic environments (cold rooms, cold stores, food processing facilities, etc.).

Both conduits have a nominal diameter of 10 to 51 mm.

A range of conduits and accessories

SES-STERLING also offers a new range of accessories: connectors for flexible metal conduits. These nickel-plated brass components fit perfectly with our SIMF and SIMF PU conduits. They ensure a reliable connection between the conduit and the equipment and prevent the conduit from coming loose.
